I wonder if there was a crossover where RH Dark Angels end up travelling to the canon verse and end up taking over the canon Fallen who had fallen to chaos. The canon fallen who have not yet been corrupted realising the new great peril that is about to be unleashed on an already beleaguered post Cadia galaxy decided to actually reveal themselves on mass to the Loyalist Dark Angels to warn the Unforgiven of the doom that is coming
